An old client asked me with such a request. This set (chain + cross) this is the third one that I’m doing to him, gradually increasing the mass.
We started from 35 grams, now it’s 70 grams. We agreed to meet in a year and catch up to 100 grams at last))
Now about the cross itself – a couple of years ago I got acquainted with the wonderful catalog “Orthodox Russia”. The products in it are distinguished by high detail, elaborate relief, but at the same time, they are quite massive.
At the beginning of work on this catalog, I planned to offer it only for silver. The orders for it in gold came as a big surprise to me.
By the way, I carefully store most of the models in the catalog “Rus Orthodox” in waxes (blanks for future decoration) in our workshop. Now, together with the client, we can examine the prototype of the future product from all sides and try it on the chain.
